DomainWise is operated by WEB TECH SOLUTIONS LTD.
When you register a domain through us, we submit your details to the relevant registry. You are the registrant — the legal holder of the domain — and you are responsible for keeping your details accurate. Registries including Nominet carry out data-quality checks and may suspend a domain whose registrant details are found to be inaccurate.
Each extension is governed by its own registry's rules and policies, which apply to your registration in addition to these terms. By registering a domain you agree to the rules of that registry.
Domains are rented for a fixed period, not bought outright. The renewal price is shown alongside the registration price before you buy, and may differ from any first-period offer. Renewal prices can change where a registry changes its own pricing; we will tell you before a change affects you.
Where auto-renew is switched on, we will attempt to renew the domain before it expires. If a renewal payment fails, or auto-renew is off, the domain will expire and you may lose it.
After expiry most registries allow a grace period during which a domain can still be renewed, followed by a redemption period that usually carries an additional registry fee. After that the domain is released and anyone may register it. These periods are set by the registry, not by us.
You may transfer a domain to another provider at any time, subject to the registry's rules. For global extensions such as .com we will supply the authorisation code on request. For .uk domains, transfers work by changing the domain's Nominet TAG, which we will do on your instruction.
You must not use a domain or service bought from us for unlawful purposes, including phishing, malware distribution, or fraud. We will act on credible abuse reports and may suspend a service where we are required to, or where there is clear evidence of serious harm.
Domain registrations are submitted to the registry immediately and cannot usually be reversed, so they are not refundable once registered. Where an order fails and we have been unable to register a domain, we will refund that part of the order.
Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law.
